"Hello all! I'm Molly Jane, and I've been working in crypto content and journalism since the end of December 2017 (yes, when Bitcoin hit $20,000 for the first time).

I started out my crypto journalism career at Cointelegraph as a journalist, and worked my way up to the head of the news department after two years. 

After leaving Cointelegraph, I spent a few months freelancing, writing profile pieces for Modern Consensus and an investigative piece into Russian crypto companies for Decrypt.

For the past (almost) three years, I've been leading the content team at CoinMarketCap. I've developed our educational platform, CMC Alexandria, which had a peak of 8 million visitors a month during our last bull run. I run our small news team, coordinate our 1-million subscriber newsletter, co-host our podcast, handle our PR and marketing communications as well as head up the educational portal from both a content and SEO perspective.

I'm also one of the founders of the Association of Cryptocurrency Journalists and Researchers (ACJR), acting as co-secretary on the board from 2020-2021. I still co-write the ACJR's monthly newsletters on the best journalism in crypto each month.

In my free time, my biggest passion is reading detective mysteries, specifically the American and British war period armchair detectives like Nero Wolfe, Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. I'm a member of the Rex Stout fan club, the Wolfe Pack, and wrote a book in 2012 called, ""Rex Stout Does Not Belong In Russia: Exporting the Detective Novel.""

All in all, I specialize in all things crypto content-related (with a small side of Russian literature) — I stay in crypto to keep covering the human side behind the tech, interviewing the founders and writing the news that drives the decentralized financial space."
